ABOUT US
TONY VISCARDI hails from Paramus, New Jersey...and like many musicians, he started playing guitar after hearing The Beatles. But while most people focused on the obvious stars Lennon and McCartney, Tony found George Harison's work inspirational. It prompted him to spend all his free time in the basement wearing out his 45's as he worked on his guitar skills. (By the way those "45's" were old school vinyl single recordings for all of you born after 1980...LOL!)
Later influences like Duane Allman and Eric Clapton helped shape Tony's personal style that's works so well as part of ORANGE SUNSHINE. Tony helps shape the sound by alternating lead vocals with Stephen and Rob, providing those "fat" Gibson guitar tones as well as handling acoustic guitar duties.
VALERIE WHITE, a multi-instrumentalist, on saxophone, flute, keyboard and lead vocals, performs tunes from the great female singers such as Karen Carpenter, Patsy Cline, and the girl groups of the 60’s & 70’s. Since moving to Florida (from Texas), you'll catch her mainly as a solo artist but also on occasion works with The Fabulons,
Turnstiles-The Ultimate Tribute to the Music of Billy Joel, and Whitestone Band.
Her motto is, if you can't dance to it, she doesn't play it - unless, of course, it's a VERY SPECIAL request!
SANDY WINNERMAN a.k.a.The Sanman

Growing up in New Jersey
He was influenced by.. guess who, The Beatles.
Sandy has performed musical theater with traveling production companies and played with the Theater On The Mall Rod Ruth Orchestra backing up artists such as Eddie Fisher, Jerry Vale and John Raitt, Bonnie’s father.

Chuck Kirkpatrick is a veteran session and touring musician with guitar and vocal credits that include Eric Clapton, Bee Gees, Peter Frampton, Eddie Money, Meatloaf, America, Brian and Dennis Wilson, Firefall, John Parr, and Coco Montoya to name a few. Chuck also had a solo album release, "Crane" on Capitol Records in 1978, and 3 independently produced solo albums since the Capitol release, all available on You Tube, Spotify, and several other internet music services. In addition, Chuck is a recording engineer with over 55 years' experience and gold record awards for his work with Brook Benton, Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Eric Clapton, Allman Brothers, George Benson and numerous other artists. Chuck is also a veteran of the radio production and jingle business with over 300 jingles and 60,000 radio spots airing in every state.
DARYL LEOCE is the heartbeat of ORANGE SUNSHINE. Like all good musicians, Daryl has paid his dues. After seeing The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, he was drawn to the drums. He started by playing with numerous "garage bands" in the greater New York area. His band MAITREX SQUARE played clubs in Greenwich Village and with his frontman Mark Rivera (of Billy Joel's band) they opened for acts like The Spencer Davis Group on the college circuit.
In the 80's his group, THE SHAKES played CBGB's, had some notoriety playing in a "B" movie MY FIRST LESSON and had a single released locally on a compilation album that garnered college radio airplay.
Daryl's done it all from garages to the clubs and concerts. He lists Dino Danelli, Mitch Mitchell, Steve Gadd, Stewart Copeland and Jeff Porcaro as influences. And of course, we cannot overlook the original Ringo influence. While he may not be sporting a mop top hairdo these days, he certainly has Ringo in his heart!!

RON BURRUANO is the man responsible for providing the richness, depth and color to the musical palette of ORANGE SUNSHINE. When you hear the group live on stage you will hear a variety of sounds including pianos, Hammond and surf organs, harpsichords, clavinet, sax/trumpet sections, French horns, rich string arpeggios and solos that will make you stop and take notice.
The genius behind these orchestrations is Ron Burruano. Hailing from upstate New York, Ron began his musical journey at age 5. Today he brings his mastery of piano and synthesizers to help define the big, full sound that ORANGE SUNSHINE strives for in every performance.
Offstage, Ron is the quiet type. You're not likely to see him racing around the room making a scene. But put him behind his keyboards and he creates magical musical mayhem. You'll be amazed by his talent!
LOU MANCUSO is a familiar face around the south Florida music scene. You may have run into Lou while he has performed with numerous acts in clubs and priivate events. Most recently he has been providing his excellent guitar skills behind bands paying tribute to The Beach Boys, Four Seasons and Rod Stewart. We are fortunate to have lured him away to use his talents to improve the sound of ORANGE SUNSHINE!
Lou has an amazing voice and brings a sweetness that rounds out the vocal harmonies that ORANGE SUNSHINE is noted for.
